Responsibilities
- We have a range of products that are mostly Tableau dashboards that clients in higher education pay to use. You would be one of the team that manages this portfolio of over a dozen dashboard modules;

- You will own some of our existing and new projects and will be expected to be able to develop dashboards based on relatively high-level requirements;
- You will help us improve our hosting of dashboards on Tableau Cloud, for example helping us optimize the data structure and improve the refresh speed of extracts;
- You will assist us in taking documentation and standardisation further and helping us find a middle ground between flexible innovation and sustainable structurization. This includes the “last boring 20%” of cleaning up projects and writing documentation;
- While our team is relatively senior, we do want to hire a junior and/or medior in the future, so you will be expected to help educate them in Tableau dashboard development in time.
- 5-10 years’ experience in dashboard design is an absolute must have;
- Tableau Desktop and/or Tableau Cloud admin experience is a huge plus. Certifications in these platforms are greatly appreciated;
- Solid understanding of SQL and data architecture, especially the way it interacts with visualisation platforms like Tableau;
- Experience in product development ownership, standardization and documentation are greatly appreciated;
- You are capable of owning a product or project, independently coming up with your own ideas and tasks, and adapt them to changes in priorities;
- You can manage internal stakeholders and can protect your own boundaries in the face of their needs;
- You are an open and fun teammate – independent yet supportive – thriving in an entrepreneurial atmosphere;
- You enjoy an environment with open and honest feedback;
- You have EU citizenship or a valid residency/work permit;
- You are fluent in English (no Dutch required, but a plus).
- A role that allows you to hone your dashboarding skills, where you will learn to understand the higher education market and design user-friendly dashboards that are engaging and informative;
- Competitive salary including a bonus and pension;
- 32 vacation days (including bank holidays) you have the flexibility to take your holidays whenever you want (e.g. be off on Chinese New Year instead of King’s Day);
- Possibility to buy/sell 5 vacation days out of your annual balance;
- Hybrid work of three days per week from home, two from our Eindhoven office (generally Mondays and Wednesdays);
- Employee referral bonuses. Studyportals is always hiring and it’s just an extra chance to work with friends (and earn some extra cash!);
- An annual personal development budget, because personal growth is KEY!
- Reimbursement of your work-related travel costs;
- Possibility to work from abroad 2 times a year;
- An informal, entrepreneurial, international and flexible atmosphere where self-initiative is highly appreciated;
- Our office is in the centre of Eindhoven (Strijp-S) in the Klokgebouw, 30 seconds from the Strijp-S station and five minutes from central station;
- Possibility to grow along with a rapidly growing company;
- The opportunity to help revolutionize the worldwide study-choice market;
- A company environment that is serious about having fun with almost everything we do, including regular memorable team events and a wide range of games and activities during lunchtime or after work;
- The opportunity to make our world a little better by increasing international access to education and be at the core of a study choice giant that the world education market is desperately waiting for.
