This is an exciting opportunity to join Edelman’s Amsterdam digital marketing department. In this role, the Senior Social & Activation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data that unlocks strategic opportunities and insights for both B2B and B2C clients. You will be mentored and managed by the Head of Digital Netherlands and work in a team of influencer, digital and content specialists. The Senior Social & Activation Analyst must have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience in digital analytics, qualitative/quantitive research and social media strategy.
Essential requirements:
Fluent in Dutch is a must to be considered for this role
A demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and develop a strategic narrative based on data driven insights
Experience with qualitative research – specifically leading online/offline surveys and focus groups
Familiarity with social media and web analytics – creating performance reports that help clients unlock new opportunities
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and digital cultural trends across Snapchat, TikTok, Meta, Reddit and YouTube; translating them into an engaging story
Ability to recognize patterns in data; helping clients future forecast where digital and culture will go
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including strong skills working on new business pitches and presentation development
Proven ability to analyze, organize and integrate large amounts of information into clear and actionable opportunities/next steps Contribute to weekly trend reports for clients and internally
Ability to collaborate, develop and implement measurement & tracking across different social media channels
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Strategic yet creative thinker, self-starter, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
