Support Consultant – Support Test & Release Process Full Time

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our development team, engaging in the complete software development life cycle. Your main responsibility will be to support the testing and release process, ensuring seamless integration and maximum performance. About your team 

You are part of our Support & Release Management department together with many driven and experienced colleagues. This department forms the link between our customers and our product development organization. You work in a team composed of various expertise (pension-related, actuarial, technical) in which you support our Product Development teams, project teams and the customers. You will work in a mixed team, i.e. with the local Dutch, Danish and Indian team, each with their own expertise (pension technical, actuarial, technical).  

Key about you 

• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Pensions, IT and services industry. 
• Preferably (but not compulsory) an educational background in IT, computer science, Mathematics, or similar

• Eager to learn the technical aspects of a complex system.  

• Willingness to acquire knowledge of software testing methodologies and release management processes. 

• Some familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Junit would be a plus. 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. 

• Proactive and result-oriented mindset, with a strong dedication to delivering high-quality solutions. 
• Strong spoken and written Dutch and English are required

Key about responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the development team to support the testing and release process of our software solutions. 

• Conduct system analysis and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs. 

• Assist clients in understanding and navigating our software platforms, providing expert advice and guidance. 

• Continuously monitor the performance and functionality of our software, proactively identifying areas for improvement. 

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage the integration of new features and enhancements. 

• Maintain documentation and detailed records of all testing and release activities. 

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills.
