The BP Territory Manager Benelux for Cytiva is responsible for for the growth and profitability of the business for all the BP Accounts in the territory. Provide sales leadership & direction to the BP account managers in the territory in Bioprocess to meet/exceed annual sales and order budgets and ensure sustained growth & profitability. The role involves strategic planning, managing people and collaborations across the organization.

This position is part of the sales team fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Lead and develop the team of BP  account managers to meet or exceed territory targets assigned by the BP commercial lead.
  • Support the BP account managers in contributing information to sales strategies and account plans.
  • Through critical insight on customer biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, support the team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers’ needs and expand BP business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts.
  • Communicate business strategy and tactics clearly to the sales team and provide feedback to colleagues, on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the territory.
  • Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports.
  • Continuously develop a network of key decision makers. Build a territory business plan and set quarterly priorities to achieve defined business goals. 
  • Lead and support sales funnel reviews to meet business targets.
  • Create trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.
  • Understand the performance and development planning process. Partner with your team to create objectives, measure performance progress against objectives and close gaps with appropriate action plans
  • Build a strong internal network to drive maximum synergy and customer satisfaction across the business. Work effectively with internal functions, including the account management team, other sales specialists, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal, scientific support, service sales and customer service.

  

 Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
  • 15 years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology/ Biopharma industry.
  • Sales techniques and prospecting capabilities.
  • Insight into networks and contacts.
  • Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Product knowledge.
  • Systems and Tools:  QlikSense and Sales Force
