THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter (Hardware Engineering) to join our team and support current and upcoming recruitment efforts for our Engineering, Product, and R&D teams. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in various (hardware) engineering fields. You will own the end-to-end recruitment processes, manage candidates and their expectations in a timely manner, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical teams to understand their requirements, develop strategies to fill critical roles, perform sourcing activities, build talent pipelines, provide statistical insights, and adhere to our key performance indicators (KPIs).


* Contract duration- 3 to 4 months with possibility of extension, hourly based contract. This opportunity is open to applicants available full-time (40hrs a week) or Part-time(24-32hrs a week).
* Start date- ASAP
* Location- Our HQ is based in Amsterdam, but this opportunity does not meet the criteria for work permit sponsorship.
 This opportunity is open to fully remote applicants or applicants who do not require sponsorship. 



YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screenings, interviewing, stakeholder management, and extending offers.

  • Utilizing various channels such as EU job boards, professional networks, and social media platforms to identify potential candidates for hardware engineering roles.

  • Being innovative and finding creative ways to attract top hardware tech talent across the EU.

  • Working with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and ensure alignment in candidate selection.

  • Building and maintaining a talent pipeline for current and future hardware engineering roles, focusing on both active and passive candidates.

  • Providing an exceptional experience to candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial outreach to onboarding.

  • Ensuring hiring practices comply with organizational policies and relevant employment laws.

  • Staying updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices to ensure competitive hiring strategies.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.

  • You have of 3-5 years of recruiting experience in (hardware) engineering.

  • Familiarity with hardware engineering roles, tools, and technologies (e.g., PCB design, embedded systems, automation, electrical and mechanical engineering, testing, etc.).

  • Familiarity with the hardware space in the EU, you ideally have experience hiring for hardware roles in Europe. 

  • You have experience working in a start up/scale up environment.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple roles simultaneously.

  • You are currently based in Europe and are able to support us remotely.
