As the Head of Revenue at Cenosco, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating functions within the organization. Your primary mission will be to develop and implement strategies that drive new revenue, optimize existing revenue streams, and align the efforts of our sales and marketing teams. You will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, expanding our global footprint, and ensuring the seamless integration of our commercial operations. You will supervise both sales and marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue generation strategy that aligns with Cenosco’s ambitious growth targets.
- Oversee the sales and marketing functions, ensuring close collaboration and alignment to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Lead the creation and implementation of go-to-market strategies for various regions, including EMEA, APAC, and the US.
- Establish a strong market presence through proactive engagement and development of strategic partnerships.
Sales Management:
- Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Implement robust sales processes, structures, and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
Marketing Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Demand Generation Manager to develop and execute demand generation campaigns that drive lead acquisition and conversion.
- Ensure effective lead nurturing and handoff processes between marketing and sales teams.
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Revenue Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze revenue performance across all channels, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Implement strategies to optimize existing revenue streams and uncover new opportunities.
- Regularly review and adjust revenue forecasts and pipeline reports to ensure accurate and actionable insights.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the Sales & Discovery teams as well as the Demand Generation Manager, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the commercial teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional cooperation.
- Drive the professionalization and scaling of the sales and marketing organizations to support rapid growth.
Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics for sales and marketing activities, providing regular reports to the executive team and the board.
- Utilize data to inform strategic decisions and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales and marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry: Have held revenue responsibility in an Enterprise SaaS business (either global or regional) and been responsible for scaling the revenues from $10m in ARR to over $30m in ARR. High preference for revenues scaled over $50m.
- Proven track record of selling software into asset and regulation heavy industries
- Have worked and been successful selling products with average sales cycle of 12M+ and average ACV of €1M+
- Have built and managed a GTM team of at least 30+ FTE. Preferred if experience building a GTM team from scratch
- Have a strong network within the GTM community so that you can draw on best in class talent to strengthen the Cenosco team
- Proven track record of leading and scaling commercial teams in a global environment.
- Experience in a scale-up environment, with a strong understanding of the dynamics and complexities of lengthy sales cycles and high-value deals.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to drive execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and marketing automation tools.
