What do you do?
Your will work together with our multidisciplinary project team. This team is responsible for the development of all future GBM Works products and services. The GBM Works team cooperates in a larger project structure with a consortium of leading multinational companies in the Offshore Wind energy market. For instance, in collaboration with GROW Offshore partners, the SIMOX project started in the Spring of 2024. During this project, GBM Works will test her method at scale 1:4-6 on bearing capacity and noise levels over the next 3 years. Market launch of the Vibrojet® is foreseen from 2025 onwards.
The interest from the market has grown significantly.
As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards across all phases of our development and testing projects. You will work closely with project leads, engineers, and operational teams to implement practical and effective HSSE procedures. This hands-on role will require your active involvement in offshore and onshore test sites, ensuring that HSSE practices are embedded into daily operations and that safety remains a top priority.
Your role includes
· Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE procedures, policies, and guidelines for all project phases
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and company policies
· Work closely with multidisciplinary teams of Mechanical, Geotechnical, Offshore, and Operational Engineers
· Actively participate in daily offshore and onshore activities to promote and monitor HSSE best practices
· Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
· Provide HSSE training and support to the project teams
· Support the development, testing, and validation of new prototypes

About you
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
· 4+ years of working experience in HSSE
· Proven experience in an HSSE role, preferably within offshore or onshore engineering projects
· Practical and hands-on approach to implementing HSSE measures
· Strong understanding of HSSE regulations and standards
· Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
· Full-time available, living in the Netherlands
